*Kiss Me* Sweetheart

I was searching thru the Sweetheart Cartridge looking for a valentine idea to come to me!!!  I remember from childhood all those little single sheet valentines you use to get in elementary school and saw the slide card with envelope  (almost like a tag card) .  I just think the frog on this cart is so much fun so I incorporated it into my valentine.I used the KISS ME cut  and one of those famous clear dollar stamps that come in so handy when working on cards  with a little inking, doodling bling, and googly eyes I think it came out pretty good.  I cut the insert and envelop at 6" but needs to be cut at 53/4 to fit an invitation size envelope to mail out so its off to our local Halmark card shop to purchase some envelopes that I get in all sizes and colors for 3 cents a piece.  A good reason to do a little shopping I guess!!

Dougs Birthday Cards

Well it's my nephews birthday Jan 30.  I can remember him as a little guy and he is growing up so fast!!!  I seem to be getting a little behind on my birthday cards and had to make up these two pretty quick to get them in the mail to get to him in time for his big day.  Birthdays cant come fast enough for the youngsters!!!!  The first one i made I used stamp set from Reflections and made the bed from Everyday Paperdolls (has so many neat cuts on it will take forever to learn them all) and some cutouts that i have stored up thru time.  The inside i used the stamps and also my computer to generate the sentiment on the inside of the card.  The sentiment on the front came the the stamp set of the monsters.

This card I made up for my mom to send to him.  Mickey and Friends is always good for any age!!!  The sentiments are from a stamp collection i have had forever.  The inside is kinda small and says Blowing Birthday Wishes your way!!!!  He loves soccer and i had this little soccer ball left over from my granddaughters soccer album I have been working on.  I hope he enjoys his cards as much as I did working on them!!!

The scrap box seems to be growing so much it is now in two boxes and taking over the one corner of my scraproom.

CARTRIDGE USED: Paisley
(owl cut at 3" but black out cut at 2 3/4)

used sketch #1 fro Raq's weekly challange to use as a design for the card!!!

Want to give the other two a shot but you never know with me!!!

Toadily Yours

Well this cart has been really fun for me!!!  I guess I am tired of working Christmas reds and greens.  This little frogie is so cute and dozens of ways to use him keep flashing thru my head.  I am sure this wont be the last of this cut you all will see!!!  I fut the toadstool and frog at 31/4 and did inking and stickles and a little bit of doodling to my cuts.  I found some packs of the background paper on one of my trips to Bigot's.  The font I used was from Pooh and Friends Font Cartridge which i welded together in DS.  This will make a cute Valentine or Birthday Card when I get the inside finished!  I really have to replenish my Birthday stash as I have quite a few birthday wishes to send this Winter!!!
