Birthday ~fishy kisses~

I made this card with jitterbuggin challenge in mind!!!  Don't know if it quite fits the sketch but I think it is somewhat similar.  I made the sketch into a pedestal card in order to get the sentiment on it.  It does have a child's flair to it but could be used for either adult or child I guess.  Hmmmm maybe I better go back to the drawing board for the sketch I have a few more days.

~~Your So Fabulous~~~~

http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/2010/07/challenge-me-monday-20.html

Ok another challenge card I made for At The Zoo Challenge 20 at Fantabulous cricut blogspot.  I have been wanting to try this cut from the Paisley cart since I saw it!!!  Isn't the zebra the cutest thing you have seen???  When I saw the challenge directions I immediately visualized this thankyou card.
I actually used paper from K & Company valentine all in one pack. The zebra is out of glitter paper by marKcella fresh paint that i found for 1.99.  Why is it when you find a paper at such a good price and you go back it is all gone and you wished you would of bought more when you first found it.  I used some brad for the inside of the wheels  that matched the paper and doodled a little on the fabulous and once again used a little of my own handwriting.  I am loving working in bright colors.  Please leave a comment and rating I so love what you all have to say!!!  Thanks for looking!!!!!!

large AROUND THE BLOCK brad
*inside of card sentiment-  But I Bet you have one heck of view from up there!!!!  Happy Birthday!

Cartridge used was Cricut Lite Bloom for the tree cut at 31/2 in.
I was going to use a bird from the Sugar and Spice cartridge but remembered I went to Ollie's and found thes large brads and it went with my colors I picked out and added a little something to the design.  I used papers from YPC Studio (Home Room) and Free paper pad i got with a magazine thats A Minds Eye (Pretty Please). Stich work was done by hand and the ground cut by hand.

?Halloween Already?

http://jitterbugginchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/07/sketch-10-in-black-and-white-with-1.html
Well Jitterbuggin Site as really inspired me to do a little design work.  This week they have a sketch to follow that you have to use only three colors two of them being black and white and one other.  I chose orange and decided to make a halloween card and use up some of the stickers and do dads from last year!!!  Circles are punched and i used the trick or treator from a child year as my cricut cut!!!  a little embossing on the black circle helped to pop the cuts a little don't you think???  The sentiment is my own handwriting which I really need practice on!!!  Thanks so much for looking and stop on by the Jitterbuggin challenge and give it a try!!!!

Tuesday "Girly Affair" challange

http://madebymomo.blogspot.com/2010/07/tuesday-challenge.html

The challenges lately has really helped with helping me design some new cards!!!  Everyone should enter a few it is so encouraging and inspirational.  I have never entered a challenge at Made by MOMO site.  Her work is fantastic and very instructional you should check her site out.  This week the challenge was to make something "really girl y" and what better than a shoe card!!!  I used the forever young cartridge which has just about anything girl y you can imagine.  I used my stickles to glitz it up a little!!!!  Hope this is what she in-visioned when she threw down this challenge!!!  Let me know if you think I hit the mark!!!  TFL

Stamp Inspired Hello Ladybug

I wish  I would write things down when i find things that inspire me so I can tell everyone where they can get these things to use also!!!  I was browsing yesterday and say this cute little stamp for sale!!!  When I looked at it I thought of the different cuts on the Cricut Cartridges that could be used in diecut to make a card come alive!!!I tried going back thru my history on my computer but that didn't work!!  Go figure LOL!!!!  I used the little turtle from CAC and the little ladybugs from WIMG.  Those little buggers were the most time consuming of this card cut at 3/4 inch and wired and glossy accented.  Layered, pop dotted and stamped and inked and this is what I came up with!!!  I think i will try the other little turtles and make some more!!!!  Thank you for looking and please leave a comment and let me know is you think I captured the stamp in dimensional form.

Cricut Card challenge

http://cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/07/cricut-cardz-challenge-33.html
For challenge # 33, make a card using the card feature from any cartridge, using any colors or theme you'd like. Post your name and a link to your card in Mr Linky by midnight EST, Tuesday, July 20th. If random.org picks your card as the winner, you'll be entered in July's grand prize drawing! This should be a fun challenge. Good luck everyone!

I used the card feature in Winter Woodland and the Cute little bunny from that cart!!  The Card is a 51/4" square card and i did lots of layering and pop dotting to get the dimension!!

Jitterbuggin Challenge Sketch 9

Well I think I covered everything on the list in the challenge. I used K & Company paper (Pastels).  The sentiment was cut with DonJuan Cartridge.  And I used the buttons for the center of the flowers!!!  Used the swiss dot cuddlebug folder for the embossing under the bow (this came from a stash I have had for years).I think the little pearls give this a delicate touch don't you????  This really turned out nice I think and I can use this for just about any occasion too.

Missing you

Here is the card I did for Jitterbuggin Sketch 8  By the Sea.  I used Debbie Mumm travel pack paper for the background.  My cuts were from Life A Beach cartridge cut at 31/2 except for the starfish cut at 2 inches.  I used some hemp and sentiment stamps from Stampendous(Happy Messages).  I did use red and yellow but the red looks like a deep orange in this picture.  This was a fun sketch to follow.  Did get the inspiration also from the Papercraft Inspirations July 2010 issue.  Those cards were done with polymer clay embellishments.  I pop dotted the lifesaver for dimension.  I hope you enjoy this card as much as I did making it!!!

There Playing Your Song

I have not been making to many cards lately and have gone and bought cards due to time restraint's lately.  I wanted to try a card for my nephew who turned 14 this year!!!  Oh this is so out of my element!!!  I have made pretty and cute but not masculine and hip (LOL)!!!  Well here it is hope he likes it!!!
