Well I got the new Paisley Cart also for Christmas!!! What a fun little cart. It screams for bright colors and embossing to me!!! Seeing as how I need to replenish my Birthday stash I thought this would make a good start!! This card is a 5X7 and i pulled out my sewing machine to try my hand at a little stitching!! I cut the owl at 31/2 inches and he just layered up super. I have so many flowers that this card seem to find a home next to the owl. The Ribbon and the stamp i used I have had for I dont know how long to long to remember where it is from!!!!

Nick's Office Cards
Nick, my son, asked me to make a few Christmas cards to give to a few people in his office!!! Of course I in all my calm unstressed life said sure!! I thought i could give him a few of the ones I already made. But he asked that i give him four of them that I hadn't posted because he was afraid someone would of already seen them!!!!! Then he asked me to wait to post them so no one would get a sneak peek!!! I made four!!! This one is the guy one!!
Used some pop dots to lift the deer on the card!!! I Just got Christmas Noel this year and just love the cuts on this cart!!!
The cards for the girls in his office got the swirly xmas tree which i was really looking forward to using!!! I cut them out in four different layers so that they would pop off the card better and be a little better when handling the card. Made them in three different color style papers !
I was somewhat pleased with the out come and would definitely make this card again!!! I did do embossing in gold and matching colors for the sentiment on the cards!! Made the the lettering stand out more than just stamping or using my computer for the sentiment at bottom of these cards!! Colors are somewhat non traditional but hey I am a little like that myself!!!
Well I probably wont get in my little haven until after the holidays to create much!!! Really need to make some New Years Resolutions so that I am not so stressed next year when Christmas rolls around!!!! Have a Blessed Holiday Season everyone!!!!

Feed the Birds
Well I got one more done today!!! Thats five down and I don't know how many to go!!! I saw all these cardinals on different cards and thought they would look nice with the Doodlecharm snowman!!! A little different version than one of my other cards!! Once again this is a 51/2 inch card!!! Found them at Michaels last year and thought i would use them this year!!! Snowflakes I picked up at Big Lots last year also!!! The bird seed is stickles a cardmakers must!!! Doodled the snowman up stuck a ribbon around his neck for a scraf and used a G Studio $1 stamp and voila another Holiday Card!!!
Another Gingerbread Card
Well I am stuck in a mode of gingerbread!!!! Needed to make a few quick cards to try and finish up my cards!!! Something I can make a few of in little time!!! Christmas is sneaking up on me fast!!!! I just love the gingerbread man from Stretch Your Imagination. He looks like he is dancing across the paper no matter where you put him!!!!! He is cut at 31/2 inches and used the paper from AC Merrymint. also used a little sentiment stamp from G Studio love those $1 stamps!!!! This card is a 51/2 in square card that I have loads of so I am sure most people will receive something in this size this year. Well I hope you all enjoy this and let me know what you think of my little guy!!!

Snowflakes Are Falling...
I made this card following a post on Cricut Message Boards. A great group of Ladies over there!!!!
When I started this I thought doesn't look to tricky, well that was before my mind started working!
Size: 5x7
(I need to work a little larger not good at small pieces yet)
I used lots of pop dots for dimension on this!! Stickled and put pearls on the little snowflakes that I layered about 5 times.
Ribbon is from my huge stash I have!!!
I used Wild Card for the Argyle layered over DCWV paper I had from last year cut at 5x7.
The snow flakes are from the Winter Woodland cart cut at 1 1/2 about 5 times.
Used George Basic Shapes to cut the Diamonds and ran thru my cuddlebug with swiss dot folder inked with white, powdery blue and silver ink. ( I had to use ds to get diamonds the right size)
Did use a silver gel pen to define the diamonds also.
I really enjoyed this card and am a little proud because I learned so many new things while making it.
* A special thank you to Custom Crops for posting how to make words in the shape of a circle. I was able to make my own little circle sentiment using their instructions.
Let me know what you think!! Leave a comment!!

Christmas Side- step Card
I was on the Christmas with the Cricut site and browsing thru the cards. I saw a version with instructions on a side step card. A little different than a regular flat card. So here is an attempt of mine of this card. I used Christmas Cheer, Doodlecharm, StoryBook, and a stamp from Hampton Arts. I will be making more of these.

Trying to get Christmas Cards going. I hopped on over to Christmas with the Cricut site to get a little inspiration!! Melanie did this card up on week nine and I really thought it was elegant!!! Mine is not exactly the same but sure used most of her design. I hope someday that I get as good so I don't have to always use layout pages and others work to make my cards. but until then I hope all you great creators out there don't mind giving me that little push!!!

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad
Well its Mom and Dad's 58th Anniversary on Oct 13. I bet you they are thinking how the times fly. I know my parents are a great example of what a marriage should be like. I know they set a perfect example for my husband and myself over the course of our 35 year marriage. I saw a card on the Cricut Card Board and thought of them. So I used once again most of that persons ideas and tweeked and changed a few things and came up with this!!!! Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
