Raq’s Sketch 2 -24
Well there has been a rash of twin babies born and the second sketch seemed so appropriate for this card!!! I used New Arrival . I used my cuddlebug to do a little embossing and ink and doodled and lots of pop dots!!! I can't imagine having twins myself and think parents of twins need to be very special parents to handle two at the same time don't you!!! Thanks for looking!!!

Raq's sketch 1 weekly Challange 2-24
I have been totally enjoying the sketches you all have put up for the weekly challenges'
I used A Childs Years for this sketch and Uti'd up a flower I had inked and viola` A Mother's Day card !!!
Mother and child was cut at 3 inches (shadow and regular pop dotted of course!!)
My flower is a silk flower I had that i embossed with heavy embossing power with glitter in it and a little pearl brad and cut flower in center. If you look closely i used three pearls on right
corner. I turned to the computer for the sentiment to get the right font for my card.

Raq's challange sketch 1
Well I made this more of a challenge for myself by using uti on my prima flowers on this card for the first time!! I think it turned out pretty good and I followed along with the sketch.
Makin Sweet Music
This card has been floating around in my mind for some time!!! I wanted the musical notes but couldn't remember which cart they were on, when in a post someone mentioned using JOTS. I am tyring to build up my stash of cards!!! I used the little birdie couple from Sweethearts cart cut at 3 inches and layered and popped many times. I the sentiment is computer generated!!! and the frame is also from sweethearts (the license plate). Let me know what you think I so like reading your comments!!!!
This is the inside of the card (sticking to that NewYears Resolution).

Scraplifted Sympathy Card
I like many others see some pretty fabulous cards that others have made. I saw a version of this on the Cricut Message boards that said that they had scraplifted it also!!! My sons coworker suffered a terrible loss this week and thought this card was something that I had to make!! Thanks to Joy Sikes who found a cut.file I could download to make the card base the rest was pretty easy using things I had in my ever ending stash!!

Wildcard Branch Card
Well You Tube is such a source of inspiration and information for me!!! I find Creations with Cristine Wild Card Series so jammed pack and sure makes my life easier when I get in the mood to try out some of these different cuts on theWild Card Cartridge !
Below is a link to all the wonderful videos you can watch and get inspired by:
http://www.youtube.com/user/Chris416ward
The above cards can be found on Page 57 in the Wild Card Manual!! It is done like a tri-fold card!! I cut this at 8 inches and had to do some trimming in order to get it to fit in the envelope that would only cut at 7 inches on my expression. (lesson learned if I wanted to make the envelope that is included with the card).
I also did some inking and used my computer for the sentiment inside!!! The butterflies are layered and puff painted and stickled! Cut a little slit and inserted ribbon for a little extra pazzazz!!! I had fun!

Triple Cone Birthday
I soooooooooo scraplifted this from U Tube Video!!! I thought it was adorable!!! What a great idea to use the score pal for the cone look and the Happy Birthday embossing folder from Cuddlebug. I used a little dollar stamp and the chocolate and i just swirled a little stickles on the vanilla!! This is cut a 8" from the You can always use a Birthday Card in your stash!!!! I decided to check out the stash of cards that are in the SWEET TREATS cartridge. (and there are a bunch) Watching the utube videos online gave me a little nudge. I even tried my hand at center point to get the inside of the card done(once again new years resolution). this was cut at 6 inches and it fits a A6 envelope!!!! I am pretty pleased with how this turned out and as always leave some comments everyone like to know what people think of their work!! Sweet Treat Cartridge pg 35. It fits a 4x91/4 inch envelope. I used some rub-ons' i had for the sentiments. I loved following along and adding a little of my own touch to this video.

I have a chrush on you
I seem to be in a shaped card mode and am enjoying every minute of it!!! I am using my Design Studio to make the bases of my cards. This one was cut at 5" in shadow and flipped around and nudged and welded. I then cut his out at 5ins with the shift key E in Zoobaloo. Did some doodling and added some embelishments and my little elephant came to life. I have also shown how I did the inside of the shape card. (my NewYears resolution) So far so good but I do cheat some times!!!! If you want to know anything else I did you can leave me a comment below.

A little Bee Told Me
Well this is the last card of the day!!!! I have gotten quite a bit done today with 10 thankyou cards I made up that I have to get in the mail this weekend . (Really behind on those.) And the early post of my elephant valentine. I decided to try a shape card and this is what I came up with!! Used DS welding two shadow cuts at 5inches together. I just cut the bee out at 5' and traded out the flower for a Heart with a stamp on it did a little doodling and stickling and here my busy little Bee is !!! Just like me!!! This card fits in a A2 envelope so I didn't have to make one saving time!!! Think I might have to duplicate a few of these!!! Thanks for looking!!!
PinkElephant Valentine
I have been really enjoying all the different cuts and characters on the Paisley Cartridge if you haven't noticed!! I bought the K & Company Valentine All in One paper pad and the papers are so great !!! (Double-sided a plus) This Little elephant holding a love letter was just crying out to me to do a little doodling and putting her on the paper required little to no work other than a few little stickers from the stash and a litte BE MINE stamp from the dollar bins and this card was finished!! Hope the rest of my Valentines go together as quickly and Pinky did!!!

Sweethearts Gumball Machine
These little stickers I found when going thru my big old box of stickers look good enough to eat and seemed to cry out to go inside the gum ball machine from the Sweetheart Cartridges!!! Now All I need is to figure out a Sentiment for the inside!!! Hmmmmmmmmmmm! Any suggestions?????
Purrrrrrrrrrrfect
Well our son got engaged last week and I wanted to welcome our future daughter in law to the family!!! I used the Paisley cart because Jen is so into cats!!! I blinged the card up a bit and tried my hand at using velium. I did heat emboss the sentiment but it didn't show up real well in the picture!!! I used ds to weld the purrfect using gypsy font saved as a gypsy file loaded into gypsy and cut went pretty well. Now i know how do that. Learn something new everyday!!!
