To a very special MOM

to a special mom 2011-04-28 008

Only a few more to go!!!  I need lots of practice on using the sewing machine!!!  For some reason on paper I cant sew a straight line or get the paper to feed evenly on my machine.  You would think with the type of machine it is I wouldn’t have much problems!!  I will Have to make another because I am not quite satisfied!!! Not by a longshot!!!!! Once again the Bloom cartridge was used with K&Company paper.

Well I know what I will be doing!!!  Practice Practice Practice

Sandi, it's just GORGEOUS the way it is! My card sewing is horrendous, but I think it gives it a more handmade look. At least that's what I tell myself so as to not drive myself crazy! I adore those flowers!

I know what you mean about the problems with sewing on cardstock. I have the same problem. Let me know if you discover an easy solution. By the way, I really like your style in the cards you make. The aqua Mom's Day card is one of my faves.

Sandi, I think that when the stitching is not straight, doubled up, etc... it makes it look better! Clean lines really doesn't shout homemade the way this does. I love your style and am gaining so much inspiration... awesome work!
