**The Luv Bug**

Was taking a look at the Jitterbuggin challenge and couldn't for the life of me decide what to do up!!!  Had to use yellow hmmmmmm.  Had to use stripes somewhere HMMMMMMM!  Well back to the thinking board!  Then I was hopping around the blogs and found DoubleClick Connections and they were having their first challenge!!! They had a theme of love bug!!!  So I combined the two and this is what I came up with.  I used Twinkle Toes cartridge for the layered heart and the bug and saying from Create A Critter.  OH and the music sheet is from Twinkle Toes too!!!  So enjoyed this doing one card for two challenges in one!!!!  So with out further ado.........

Thanks for taking a look and stop on by to both http://jitterbugginchallenge.blogspot.com/ and http://doubleclickconnections.blogspot.com/ and give them a try!!!!

~~ sent with love~~~

I so enjoy going from blog to blog and getting inspiration from everyone and idea of what you do that I can use and learn from!!!  Not only from various blogs but from the great bunch of card makers over on the Cricut Message boards!!!  This card is a card that I used from the sketches posted weekly on the message board under Raq's challenge.  I don't always post there but usually take a peak to see what all those talented ladies come up with.  Challenges do exactly what they are suppose to do, they give us that little nudge to learn new things and press the limits of what we think we are able to do!!!  Here is my card that I made from the sketch 1 and hopping thru various blogs admiring all that others do.

All Imagine

I made this card using the Yummy cartridge and my imagine!!!  With the Jitterbuggin challenge this week in mind I thought i would try using all my cuts and paper with the exception of the flowered background paper using my imagine!!!  I find myself when I cant quite find a paper handy quickley turning to my Cricut Imagine.  I would other wise have stacks of paper all over the place when it is so easy to open up one of the carts I have and get the exact shape of a color I am looking for!!!  One of the many advantages of a printer/cutting machine!!!!!!  Sizing is a learning experience with I am sure over time will get easier and easier when I can use my gypsy better with it!!!  Well with out further ramblings here is my card and I know as I go along I will improve with time!!!

All My Love

I was sitting watching utube for a moment of peace and quiet in my house and decided to watch some stamping and paper making techniques!!!  Even though i have loads of paper I sometimes cant find exactly what I want in the stacks upon stacks of paper I own!!!  The little $1 stamps you pick up at m's and joannes seem to come in handy on this one!!!  I found a little heart i likes and just started stamping it all over a paper with black stayz on ink and then got some red and stamped over it for my one paper!!!  That is how this card started!!!  I decided to use things that were laying in my needs to put away stash that I didn't use on other projects (like the flowers) and and the little velium envelope and just started picking up things and laying them down.  Mind you it isn't perfect but not to bad for my first attempt and making my own my own!!!!  Thanks for looking and give the stamping a try with all the things we have in our scraprooms you might find a new technique or two!!!

At The Hop ~Niffty Fifties~

I got this cart before Christmas and had yet to take it out of its packaging.  I think this is a great cart for all those baby boomers don't you!!!  It's my aunt's birthday and she was a teen back when all was hoppin and immediately wanted to make a card using this cart when I realized that it was her time of year!!!  All the cuts are from the Nifty Fifties cartridge just sized on DS (which I am disappointed they aren't having work with the imagine).  I love the colors of the paper and the displays so I just mirrored the manual and added some bling and ink.  I really need to work on my printing!!!  I need to get this out in the mail because it has to go to the other side of the country and will definitely be late but that's ok she knows that I think about her every year on her day and knows me all so well!!!!  Thanks for looking!!!

~~ I will love you till i CROAK~~

I saw this saying and just loved it!!! Still chuckling!!!!!!!!!!!  I had gotten the sizzix frog on clearance last year and hadn't used it yet!!  (Like many other things in this room)  Also added the stamp cut from Sweethearts cartridge cut at 2 1/2 inches and glittered it up!!!  Sitting along with the die cut was a box of 20  Thank you cards that I used as my base that I paid like 1.99 for at Ollie's here in Johnstown.  If you go into there Stationary department they have loads of boxes of cards with envelopes to fit that you can use as bases for your cards that include the envelopes to match!!!!  I have a few other designs floating around in my head to make with this little guys on the same line so you will be probably seeing more of him!!!! Thanks for taking a look.... xoxoxox
