~MOM & DAD"s altered frame~

I took this pic of my mom and dad for the newspaper announcement of their 50th anniversary!!  I had them both belly laughing by the end of picture taking because I couldn't get them to smile at the same time!!!  My dad passed away right after the new years and this is by far one of the best pics of him and exactly how I want to remember him!!!  I bought this wooden frame at M's and decided to alter it with Folkart's metallic and glitter paint.  Used Tim Holtz ink to stamp the swirls over top .  The butterflies and the swirls are metal findings and I put some bling in the middle of the swirls!!  Dad's favorite color  was blue so I used some blue ans well as green prima's to decorate with!!  Mom, who is living with me now,  like this so much that she keeps it beside her bed. Now I have to make another one for myself!  I never make any two things the same!!!
